Camp Director

Welcome to Rockland Rock Band Camp. Music is such an important part of all of our lives – it touches all of us. Music connects us to so many fond memories and connects us to each other. Listening to music is great, and for me and all musicians, playing music is even better – especially in a band. When I formed the camp 6 years ago, I wanted to provide a fun and memorable summer program and musical learning experience for our campers, and give them the opportunity to experience being in a real band, rehearsing, and performing live in front of an audience. We see solid musical development in our campers after just one week in our program, and the campers come away with an experience that will last a lifetime.

It is important to us that we have a strong personal relationship with our campers and their parents, and would like to talk with you to discuss our program, how it can work for your child, their particular interests, skill level, and goals. Please
call me directly or send me an email – I’d like to talk with you. I hope you will have your child join us.

Sincerely,

Brian Murphy
